Ritz Baked Chicken Strips

Cut them smaller for chicken nuggets or leave them in strips. These are perfect to make and freeze for later.

Ingredients
  

Coating

  • 1 c crushed Ritz
  • 2 Tbsp butter melted

Strips

  • 1 boneless chicken breasts

Egg Wash

  • 1 egg
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp Cajun seasoning optional
  • 1 Tbsp flour
  • ¼ tsp Dijon mustard

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375℉.
  • Combine the butter and crackers together. Place in the oven for 5 minutes to toast. When done, set them aside in a medium sized bowl with a lid.
  • Cut the chicken into strips.
  • Whisk the egg. Add in the garlic powder, onion powder, and Cajun seasoning, flour, and Dijon mustard. Whisk together.
  • Place crushed crackers into a bowl that has a lid.
  • Coat chicken pieces in egg mixture then transfer to the bowl with crackers. Place the lid on the bowl and shake it until the chicken is fully coated.
  • Place chicken on a sprayed baking sheet.
  • Once all of your chicken is on your baking sheet, place it in the oven and cook for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, flip the chicken over and bake for 10 more minutes.
  • Enjoy with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

If you want a crunchier texture, pop them in your air fryer or deep fry them.
Chicken’s internal temperature should be 165℉.
