Ingredients

cups
of cubed Italian bread
¼
c
sugar
1
egg
¼
c
milk
Paste:
2
Tbsp
softened butter
2
Tbsp
brown sugar
Sauce:
2
Tbsp
butter
2
Tbsp
sugar
2
tsp
vanilla
Instructions
Preheat oven to 170℉.
Place bread cubes on a pan and bake for 10 minutes, flip the bread over and bake another 10 minutes.
While the bread is baking whisk together the ¼ c of sugar, egg, and milk together in a medium bowl.
Once the bread has been baked add the bread to the egg mixtures and stir it together until the bread has soaked up all of the liquid.
Divide the bread evenly into two sprayed 8 oz. ramekins.
In a small bowl, mix together the softened butter and brown sugar. Spread this paste over the bread cubes in the ramekins.
Bake for 35-40 minutes at 350℉.
While those are in the oven, make your sauce.
On medium heat and in a small saucepan, melt the butter, sugar, and vanilla together. Stir constantly until sugar has melted.
Once the ramekins are out of the oven, pour the sauce over the bread.
Enjoy hot and fresh!
