Orange Margarita Mocktails for Two

Whether you are abstaining from alcohol or want a nice drink, this virgin margarita is simple and refreshing and appropriate for anyone at any age.

Ingredients
  

  • ¼ c lime juice freshly squeezed
  • ½ c orange juice freshly squeezed
  • 2 Tbsp simple syrup
  • 2 c ice
  • lemon-lime pop sprite, seltzer, squirt, etc.
  • lime wedge and sugar or salt for rimming the glasses

Instructions
 

  • Pour the sugar or salt onto a small plate.
  • Run the inside part of lime wedge along the rim of glasses then turn the glass upside down onto the filled plate to coat it with the sugar or salt.
  • Blend together the lime juice, orange juice, simple syrup, and ice.
  • Distribute the mixture evenly between the two glasses then fill the rest of the way up with soda.
  • Garnish with lime slices and enjoy!

Notes

As a person who prefers sweet over salty, I love the sugar rim over the salty one but the nice thing about this drink is you can make it however you like!
